How can I sign up?

You can sign up for the referral program immediately here.

How does it work?

It takes about 2 minutes to sign up. Once you sign up, you'll receive a referral link that you can start sharing.

Share this link whenever you talk about Looking Glass. Anyone who purchases a Looking Glass Portrait with your link will receive $40 off their purchase. When their purchase goes through, you will be rewarded $25 within 48 hours via the ReferralCandy platform.

How do payouts work?

Payouts are made via PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you will be asked to sign up for one. Here are some more details about the payout on ReferralCandy's help center.

Payouts will be recognized and rewarded after 48 hours after a purchase is made.

There are so many ways that you can go about referring your audiences but here are a few tips for you to get started:

Host an event or webinar
We're thrilled when we see community members organize virtual events or attend conferences around the (virtual) world talking about Looking Glass. This is a fun way to meet new people, build your brand, and give back to the community. These are often great ways for you to share your referral links.If you need help with this, let us know. We’re happy to assist with any events -- both in-person and online if we’re able to.

Sharing is caring and we've found that LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram & Twitter have really been an incredible creative sandbox for folks creating exciting Looking Glass content. Some posts really hit the right tune on these platforms and if they go well, you will definitely find an audience that converts.

Start with what you know! If you are a 3D creator already making tutorials, port your work into a Looking Glass as your final step and plug your referral link in your videos. Can Looking Glass share my referral code with their audiences?

We typically will not share your referral codes with our audiences. Once in a while, we may retweet / re-post content of yours but that does not constitute an endorsement.

Can I share my referral code on official Looking Glass communities?

Our one and only Looking Glass official community is on Discord. Unfortunately, you will not be allowed to share your referral code there since it will be unfair for all other creators + customers who also have discount codes to share. These codes are to be used generally with audiences that you have built up separately. Of course, our audiences will overlap but sharing on our official Discord server will not be permitted.

Do I have to purchase a Looking Glass to join the program?

Typically, yes, since creating on a Looking Glass is the best way to bring others into the community.

Can I become a referrer if I live outside the United States?

Yes. We accept affiliates from anywhere in the world, as long as ReferralCandy, our third-party affiliate platform, supports your country of residence. Please keep in mind that all commission payments are currently made in U.S. dollars via PayPal.

Are there any fees?

There are no fees associated with the Looking Glass referral program. It is completely free to participate.
