Looking Glass support built in partnership with Kitware
The Visualization Toolkit (VTK) is open source software for manipulating and displaying scientific data. It comes with state-of-the-art tools for 3D rendering, a suite of widgets for 3D interaction, and extensive 2D plotting capability.
VTK is a C++ library with several higher-level language wrappers, including Python and Java, and is the core for ParaView and 3D Slicer. To use VTK with Looking Glass you have to build VTK from source code.
VTK provides support for all Looking Glass displays provided you have the HoloPlay Core SDK. When building a VTK project from source, you must enable the flag in CMAKE and must also reference the dynamic libraries and header files provided by the SDK.
