Can the display run standalone? What computer is required?

The display cannot run standalone and requires a computer in order to deliver the high-quality content in 8K both for static and real-time applications. A compatible computer can be purchased from Looking Glass at an additional cost.

If you are using your own computer, ensure your PC meets the following minimum recommended performance:

  • Graphics card must able to output 7680px x 4320px with resolution 2x DisplayPort outputs
  • RTX 3090 Graphic card or equivalent
  • 9th Gen i7 CPU, 16GB RAM
  • 256 GB SSD
How does the display connect to the computer ?

The Looking Glass 65” connects to the computer with 2-DisplayPort cables and a single USB 3.0 A to B cable.

What are the complete dimensions of the display?

The dimensions of the display are as follows:

  • 57.6" x 3.2" x 33.2" / 1462 mm x 82 mm x 843 mm (without the tabletop stand)
  • 57.6" x 13.0" x 36.8" / 1462 mm x 329 mm x 935 mm (with the tabletop stand)
What are the mounting options for the display?

The Looking Glass 65" can be used on a tabletop or mounted using a standard VESA mount (400mm by 250mm or 300mm).

Can the display showcase real-time application in addition to static 3D images?

Yes, it can display both 3D static images and real-time interactive applications.
